Functioning as an investment holding company, 3Bumi Sdn Bhd has strategically invested in three subsidiaries, each contributing significantly to the company’s growth and success. The three subsidiaries include:
- 3Bumi Trading Sdn. Bhd. – Engaged in the trading of Halal frozen meat and premium products.
- 3Bumi Oleo Sdn. Bhd. – Specializing in the bottling and distribution of palm olein edible oil.
- 3Bumi (Cambodia) Co. Ltd. – Involved in food distribution and retail operations in Cambodia.

Chief Business Development Officer
Encik Silahuddin brings over three decades of extensive experience and expertise to his role as the Chief Business Development Officer at Melewar Industrial Group Berhad (MIGB).
Since joining the company on 1 April 2008, he has played a pivotal role in spearheading the organization’s trading and distribution initiatives in international markets through subsidiaries like Melewar Imperial Limited (Labuan) and 3Bumi Sdn Bhd.
In addition to his leadership in trading and distribution, Encik Silahuddin oversees MIGB’s foray into steel modular structures through Ausgard Quick Assembly Systems Sdn Bhd, further enhancing the Group’s presence in the construction industry.
With a keen eye for emerging opportunities, Encik Silahuddin explores potential ventures across diverse sectors, from mining to infrastructure to renewable energies to food industries.
His extensive background in business development dates back to 1994 when he began shaping his career in the local corporate landscape after returning from the United States.
Encik Silahuddin’s professional journey initially led him to regional management roles in the retail and medical insurance sectors in the US, where he honed his strategic acumen and leadership skills.
Upon transitioning to the building materials sector, he made significant contributions to the brick, timber, and steel industries before joining MIGB.
A testament to his commitment to excellence, Encik Silahuddin holds a Bachelor in Business Administration in Information Systems from Georgia States University, USA. Throughout his career, he has pursued continuous learning and professional development, earning numerous certificates in marketing, management, and planning.

Encik Wan Katzlan Abdullah
Head of Business - 3Bumi Sdn Bhd
Encik Wan Katzlan Abdullah, with nearly two decades of professional experience, is a seasoned leader known for his strategic prowess and exceptional track record with a wealth of experience spanning various industries and roles.
Currently serving as the Head of Business for 3Bumi Sdn Bhd, he oversees strategic initiatives and drives business growth for the company. With his strong leadership skills and business acumen, Encik Wan Katzlan has been instrumental in guiding 3Bumi Sdn Bhd to new heights since December 2022.
Prior to his current role, Encik Wan Katzlan held the position of Head of Operations at 3Bumi Trading Sdn Bhd, where he played a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency and ensuring seamless execution of business activities.
His tenure as Manager at 3Bumi Sdn Bhd from November 2020 to December 2022 provided him with invaluable insights into the company’s operations and laid the foundation for his subsequent leadership roles.
Before joining the 3Bumi family, Encik Wan Katzlan gained extensive experience in project management and financial services. As a Project Manager at Yayasan Rakyat 1Malaysia, he spearheaded various initiatives aimed at uplifting communities and driving social impact.
His tenure at Kuwait Finance House saw him serving in key roles such as Assistant Product Originator and Account Relationship Manager, where he honed his skills in financial management and client relations.
Encik Wan Katzlan’s journey in the corporate world began with roles in customer service and executive management, including positions at Allianz Malaysia, Commerce Assurance Berhad, and United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB).
He holds a Certificate in Computer Support Engineering from Informatics College, underscoring his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
